Our Team Spirit
NWSA Lightning FC is a club that is focused on providing a recreational soccer program for players ages 11-18(U11-U19) who want to learn the game and develop their skills. For Players who are looking to to prepare for middle school or high school soccer tryouts. Or Players who just want to play soccer on a team that is competitive but without the high cost and travel that comes with select teams.

Practices will be held at Phil Harberger Park, 8400 NW Military Hwy, 78231 and other locations in the Neighborhood

Away Games will be played at the fields of the opposing team
The Seasons
Spring Season registration begins January with practices to be announced. The season lasts until May
Fall Season registration begins September 1st with practices to be announced. The season lasts until November
We will hold Soccer Camps during off season times

Mission Statement
NWSA Youth Soccer Lightning FC is a non-profit and educational organization whose mission it is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of our communities' youth through the sport of soccer at all age levels and competition in a healthy, fun and safe environment.
Organization
NWSA Lightning FC Youth Soccer is an independent club operated as a non profit organization. We work together with AHFSH Youth Soccer to maximize resources in areas such registration, team building, coaching resources and admin resources.
The purpose of the Club is to build teams in the North West area of San Antonio from Castle Hills to Shavano Park that offer D3 level play at an affordable rate. This provides an opportunity for those players that are late starters, or don't have the resources either financial or time wise to commit to Select Soccer clubs. It also provides soccer to players that live in the area to practice in the neighborhood. Coaches are volunteer coaches that have support from the Professional staff at AHFSH and have passed a background check
Joining the Club and Registering for the Season
To register your player click on the link below. Once you have registered, your player will be placed on an age appropriate team. The team coach will contact you and give you information on practice and game schedule.
Coaches will hand out uniforms and make sure that players have player cards. During the registration please upload a headshot photo of your player, this will be used for the playerprofile and player card.
Each team will have a Groupme group that will be used to keep teams informed on any needed updates.

Wednesday Night Soccer 2019 At Hobby Middle School
Develop your Soccer skills at this free camp. Every Wednesday through the Winter of 2019/2020 we will provide soccer at Hobby Middle School Soccer field for players from the schools in the area.
Never played soccer before, no problem, we'll teach you the basics, intermediate and advanced skills to improve your game.
Join a team
Want to join a team? We're forming teams as players are registering. Ages 10-18. Season play begins in March after Spring break. Practice will begin as soon as a team is formed and a coach has been assigned
Wednesday Nights Winter 2019/2020
